These Billing Terms and Conditions explain how Mister Backyard charges for orders, which currency we use and how we keep payments safe. They apply to every purchase made through our store.
1. How Payment Works
- Your order is paid in full at checkout. We do not offer layby, deposits or payment on delivery.
- We only begin preparing and dispatching an order after the payment has been authorised and confirmed.
- If your card or wallet declines the payment, the order is not placed, and we let you know by email so you can try another method.
2. Payment Methods
You can pay with Shop Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. The full details, including how each option works, are in our Payment Policy.
3. Currency and Prices
- All prices on our store are shown and charged in Australian dollars (AUD).
- Standard shipping is free on all orders, so the delivery line at checkout always shows $0.00.
- All prices include any import duties and taxes, so nothing more is charged at checkout or on delivery.
- We may change prices at any time, but your order is always charged at the price displayed when you placed it.
- Discount codes and promotions apply only to orders placed while they are running and cannot be added to an earlier order.
4. Keeping Your Payment Secure
Our checkout is encrypted with SSL, and payments are handled by payment providers that comply with the PCI DSS security standard. We never see or keep your full card number on our own systems.
5. Refunds and Payment Disputes
- Refunds follow the rules in our Refund Policy and always go back to the card or wallet used for the original purchase.
- If something looks wrong on your statement, email contact@misterbackyard.com and we will sort it out quickly. We reply within 24 hours on business days.
6. Preventing Fraud
To keep every shopper and our store safe from fraud, Mister Backyard may:
- pause or cancel an order that appears to involve fraud or a card used without permission, with a full refund of any amount taken;
- ask for extra identity checks before dispatching a high-value order or one that looks unusual.
