About Mister Backyard
Mister Backyard is an online store for Australian backyards. We sell BBQs, pizza ovens, outdoor furniture and umbrellas, so you can sort out the cooking, the seating and the shade in one go.
Why we started
Plenty of backyards have a good spot that hardly gets used, usually because something is missing: nowhere comfortable to sit, no shade in the middle of the day, or a barbie that's more trouble than it's worth. We want to make it easier to set up an outdoor area you'll actually use on a Saturday arvo, whether that's a gas BBQ by the back door or a full outdoor kitchen.
How we choose what we sell
Before a product goes on the site, we go through the maker's specifications: what it is made of, how it goes together and how much room it takes up. If we can't confirm a detail, we leave it off the product page. That's why some pages list more measurements than others.
Ordering from us
Standard shipping is free anywhere in Australia, and the price you see is the price you pay, with nothing extra to pay on delivery. You have 30 days from delivery to ask for a return. Email or call us and we'll get back to you within 24 hours on business days.
If something turns up damaged or isn't what you ordered, let us know and we'll sort it out with you. You're also covered by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
What you'll find here
For cooking, there are gas and charcoal BBQs, smokers, pizza ovens and modular outdoor kitchens. For sitting back, we have lounge and dining settings, sun loungers, daybeds and hanging egg chairs. We also carry cantilever umbrellas for shade, plus a few pieces of garden decor.
Who's behind the store
Mister Backyard is run by Acerbus LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, United States. We only sell to customers in Australia, and our logistics partners dispatch orders from their warehouses outside Australia.
